Norwegian law firm Kvale latest in EMEA to buy DocsCorp's desktop Productivity Suite

DocsCorp today announced that Norwegian commercial law firm Kvale has bought the DocsCorp Productivity Suite: pdfDocs for PDF file editing and bundling, cleanDocs for sending secure email, and compareDocs for document comparison.

Christopher Vogt, Head of IT at Kvale, explained the decision to purchase began with cleanDocs. “We really needed a solution like cleanDocs for both general email security and GDPR compliance. Then we learned that DocsCorp had several other solutions that would benefit the firm, giving us a way to consolidate the number of vendors we do business with.”

Samantha Jefferies, VP of Sales EMEA at DocsCorp said, “we are pleased that Kvale saw value in the DocsCorp suite of desktop solutions. These solutions help firms be more productive while consolidating the number of vendors they work with. All three solutions have the same look and feel, and require minimal training which increases user adoption. Having a set of tools that increases productivity, reduces the risk of data leaks and integrates seamlessly with existing systems is something every firm could benefit from.”

• Why pdfDocs? Firms in Norway must provide documents to the Courts in PDF format, so a powerful, all-in-one PDF file editor and bundler was critical. “We chose pdfDocs because it was a full-featured and cost-effective solution we could deploy across the entire firm,” explained Christopher Vogt. pdfDocs is replacing Adobe Pro.
• Why cleanDocs? Kvale will use cleanDocs as part of its data leak prevention strategy for GDPR compliance. Users will be protected from causing an inadvertent data breach by emailing the wrong person or leaking hidden metadata in PDFs and Microsoft Office files. 
• Why compareDocs? Document comparison is an essential tool in law firms since files are often shared with opposing counsel and third parties. Lawyers at Kvale will use compareDocs to see the difference between versions of their documents more quickly and with a greater degree of accuracy.
