Belgian Law Firm Van Bael & Bellis Chooses I.R.I.S. to Implement WorkSite

I.R.I.S. Nederland B.V., one of Europe’s largest specialists in Enterprise Information Management (EIM), today announced that Van Bael & Bellis, a leading independent law firm based in Brussels, has selected I.R.I.S. to implement HP WorkSite. The solution, based on I.R.I.S. Best Practice for Law Firms, will mean Van Bael & Bellis can better manage their case related documentation and email.

Van Bael & Bellis’ existing document management solution, custom developed for the law firm, was no longer suitable for the new ways of working necessary in today’s information centric society. The solution had no mobile device capability, nor was it able to automatically store and manage emails, a critical and significant communication medium. This presented a problem for the firm’s lawyers who often need access to documentation whilst on the move, away from the office. The lack of automatic email storage also meant that electronic case files risked being incomplete.

I.R.I.S. is working in close cooperation with Van Bael & Bellis’ own IT department. The foundation of HP WorkSite will be augmented by the knowledge and skills that I.R.I.S. has built up over many deployments to law firms. The solution will include I.R.I.S. FastTrack consulting services and support and will be deployed to over 80 users, the majority of whom will also access the solution from mobile devices.
