Consilio, the global leader in legal technology solutions and enterprise legal services, announced today the closing of their previously announced acquisition of Lawyers On Demand (LOD), a pioneer in flexible legal talent, and SYKE, a premier legal technology consultancy headquartered in the UK.
The acquisition extends Consilio’s Enterprise Legal Services (ELS) business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia as well as expands its existing presence in the UK.
“Consilio’s acquisition of LOD and SYKE is a significant milestone for our company as we grow our legal flexible talent offerings and legal system implementations, optimization, and commercial contracting services,” said Andy Macdonald, CEO of Consilio. “This acquisition allows us to keep pace with global demand for these services and unlock enhanced scale and capabilities for our clients.”
The transaction is now closed and will be followed by an integration period of several quarters as the businesses align.
