Microsystems, a leading provider of software and services that drive document quality and production efficiency, announces the addition of new 3BClean customers in the current reporting period, indicating substantial growth since acquiring certain key assets related to the 3BClean product from 3BView Limited.
In 2012 alone, Microsystems doubled its 3BClean customer installs. This growth momentum solidifies 3BClean’s market-leading position in the fast-growing server segment for firm-wide protection against metadata leakage. Market estimates also point out that Microsystems has increased its lead over other available solutions, with more than double the number of server installations than all of its competitors combined.
Backed by Microsystems recognized customer support team, 3BClean customers benefit from a single source for end-to-end metadata detection and removal from Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, PDFs and documents in Zip files, sent from all devices.
Microsystems continues to add new features to 3BClean. The product's next release—3BClean 4.0—is expected for release later this quarter.

Several law firms, government entities and corporations located across the United States and United Kingdom that recently licensed 3BClean software include Clifford Chance LLP; Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP; Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP; Tonkon Torp LLP; Quarles & Brady LLP and Mirick O’Connell, DeMallie & Lougee, LLP.
“The need for server-based metadata coverage continues to reach new levels as the use of mobile devices amongst lawyers increases,” said Tom O’Sullivan, CEO of Microsystems. “3BClean protects mobile lawyers from unwanted metadata leakage without disrupting their workflows.”
