Major new version of enterprise collaboration platform optimized for mobile devices

At LegalTech New York today, HighQ is previewing Collaborate 3.0, a fully mobile-optimized version of its leading cloud-based collaboration platform, used by over 70 of the world’s leading law firms.  Designed to be touch-ready out of the box, Collaborate 3.0 uses a responsive design to automatically optimize itself for mobile, tablet and desktop devices, with no need to download any apps.

Collaborate 3.0 provides a unique combination of features for users by combining an amazing consumer-grade user experience with enterprise-grade technology and security. The platform combines secure document management with enterprise social networking, productivity and knowledge sharing features that benefit law firms and corporate law departments.  Clients can leverage new features including secure file sharing, microblogging, private messaging, centralized notifications, commenting, liking and enhanced people profiles.  All of the existing modules of Collaborate such as files, wikis, blogs, tasks and events have also been redesigned for mobile devices.

• People profiles:  Enhanced people profiles show detailed information including contact info, recent activity, bio, skills, experience, followers, recent images and favorites.  Users can also ‘follow’ other users in the system and filter the activity stream to show only updates from people they follow.
• Notifications: A centralized notification system alerts users of new comments, tasks, edits or ‘likes’, either via email or in the new Notifications window.
• Private messages:  Secure private messaging allows users to have private, direct conversations with one or more people without leaving the system.
• Secure file sharing:  Document management and file sharing is taken to the next level with views optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Mobile redesign and updates to existing Collaborate modules
• All existing Collaborate modules have also been redesigned to be mobile-friendly.
• Many other smaller improvements have been incorporated, including the ability to quickly find people in the global search and access favorite items from anywhere in the application.
