Microsystems, a leading provider of software and services that drive document quality and production efficiency, announces additions to its Board of Directors to guide the company in its expansion of product and service offerings throughout the legal and life sciences industries.
Over 250,000 professionals globally, across 650 organizations, rely on Microsystems solutions to help them improve document quality and production efficiency as well as mitigate document-related risk. The expanded Microsystems Board of Directors, which follows a long-term growth investment by Concentric Equity Partners (CEP), positions the company to best serve its growing client base, while continuing to deliver innovative and competitive products.
“Microsystems is delighted to welcome these individuals to our Board of Directors,” said Tom O’Sullivan, CEO of Microsystems. “The technology experience and expertise in driving corporate expansion that each individual brings will help propel Microsystems to new levels of growth and drive added value for our clients.”
In addition to Ken Hooten and Ian Ross of CEP and CEO Tom O’Sullivan, the individuals appointed to the Board of Directors include:
Sean Y. Chou – Chief Technology Officer, Fieldglass, Inc.
Sean played a key leadership role in building Fieldglass into the leading Vendor Management System provider. As Chief Technology Officer, Sean is responsible for overall development and delivery of Fieldglass solutions and services, overseeing the company’s product development, hosting, marketing and professional services departments. Sean was previously Technical Project Manager at Giant Step (now Arc Worldwide), and Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Psychology.
“I am delighted to join the Microsystems board. I believe this company is at an inflection point with the potential of a start-up. But with hundreds of customers, robust intellectual property, and 15 years of profitable growth, it has a solid foundation and depth of management. The future opportunities are enormous,” said Chou.
Gregory J. Dukat – Former Chief Executive Officer, StarCite, Inc.
Greg has a strong background in fast-growth technology companies. He served as the previous CEO of StarCite, a global Saas solution with over 400 employees, President and CEO of Ventyx, Inc., CEO for 180Commerce Inc., and Vice President and General Manager for the southern region at J.D. Edwards World Solutions Company (later acquired by PeopleSoft). Greg holds a BS in Business Administration from State University of New York at Buffalo.
“It is a real honor to be asked to join the board of Microsystems,” according to Dukat. Adding, “Tom and his team have built an outstanding organization—one to which I hope to make a positive contribution.”
