Mitratech, the leader in enterprise legal management solutions including matter management, e-billing and GRC management, today announced that Jason Parkman, former Chief Operations Officer of Mitratech, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective immediately.
Parkman joined Mitratech in October 2012, taking direct responsibility for all client-facing departments in the organization including the professional services, client support, marketing and sales teams. In this time, he has worked closely with the Mitratech Board of Directors and executive staff to develop and refine Mitratech’s vision for enterprise legal management.

As Chief Executive Officer, Parkman will apply his extensive legal technology experience to the strategy and management of Mitratech. Prior to joining Mitratech, Parkman was Senior Vice President, Large Law Firm Business at Thomson Reuters, where he oversaw the strategic direction, sales, account management, product marketing, technical services and operations for this $700 million business segment. Parkman joined Thomson Reuters through its acquisition of Hubbard One, where he served as Vice President and General Manager, leading all operations for the high-growth legal software and services business. Parkman’s experience also includes legal technology start-ups and technology operations within the law firm environment.
Parkman holds his Bachelor of Arts in legal studies and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his Master of Arts in philosophy from the University of Chicago.
