Back office operations, lit support, digitizing of legal records and the offsite storage of legal documents to be focus for dynamic exchange
Legal support services consulting firm Mattern & Associates, LLC announces the firm’s President, Rob Mattern, will be moderating the panel discussion, “Making Technology, Back Office Support Services and Lit Support All Work Together with Maximum Realization,” on the first day of the 9th Annual CIO CTO Forum, January 30th at 3:30pm.
The CIO CTO Forum will focus on C-level strategic decision-making for managing law firm IT departments and is held in conjunction with LegalTech® at the Hilton New York.
Law firms are facing ever increasing pressure points in 2013 with weakening demand and expenses running ahead of revenues. Much of these pressures are coming down on the shoulders of the law firm CIO and CTO to increase productivity through rapid advances and adoptions in technology and workflow reengineering.
Mattern will moderate a discussion between distinguished panelists Thom Wisinski, Chief Knowledge Officer, Haynes & Boone; Leigh Isaacs, Director of Records and Information Management at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; and Tom Baldwin, Chief Knowledge Officer at Reed Smith, LLP and give response to these competing pressure points. In particular, the panel will discuss these questions:
Rob Mattern remarks, “We’re pleased to bring together a cross-section of some of the industry’s most respected leaders in order to facilitate a challenging and dynamic panel discussion. We’re looking forward to the different viewpoints, practices and solutions—and hope to bring forth interesting challenges.”
Mattern will also be hosting, as a part of the informal dialogue table series presented by the CIO CTO Forum coordinators, “Cost Recovery Done Right,” a casual discussion with Forum attendees which will review the best practices of a national firm with a top down and successful approach to cost recovery strategies. “Cost Recovery Done Right,” is scheduled for Table 4 on January 30th @ 2:10pm.
